Tot School School~Snow

Gator-Tot is 29 months

Tot School

This was a very special week for us in the south. Sunday night we got 5+ inches of snow and it has been here all week. Public school was out all week but it was business as usual here at Gator University. We made plenty of time to get out and play in the snow with Daddy who was out of work until Thursday ;-)

Freshman did not like that the snow was up to his tummy, ha ha!

It amazes me how kids can play and play and not complain about the frigid temps. Look at that red face.

The boys had down time to snuggle on the couch and watch a few movies.

We read a ton of snow/winter books but one of our favorites was The Big Snow.
We acted like the couple in the book and made sure that all of our friends had plenty of food. We loved watching them eat and visit.

The boys helped me make a snowflake snack.

Gator-Tot loved it.
I made our January sensory bin last week and G-Tot has been enjoying it. It is simply cotton balls and some foam glittery snowflakes and snowmen. I also made a batch of homemade playdough that is white with glitter and scented with mint again.

We worked on some alphabet puzzles from 2 Teaching Mommies. He asked to do this several times this week.

He also had some counting practice with printables from Musings of Me. Counting is his favorite thing to do now and he can count to 11 with out any help.

We also worked on some of the beginning writing sheets from 2 Teaching Mommies. He really enjoys these.

Oh, and my sweet 1 year-old boy! He is getting so big. He is now cruising and pulling up on everything.
