Apple Unit Study- Field Trip

This weekend we had another wonderful weekend field trip as a family. I just love how we can tie in our family time together with school work! Daddy also enjoys being able to participate in school activities.

Picking is more fun when Daddy gives you a boost.




Everyone got to sample, even Freshman!



The orchard even had it's own bee hive! Senior loved this and I was able to reinforce how important bees are to the apple orchard.


I have to say it again....I LOVE HOMESCHOOL!

We came home with plenty of apples to use in our lessons. So far we have made applesauce, and two apple pies. You know we HAD to because it is educational, ha ha!
