The sensory bin that I came up with was inspired by Counting Coconuts and No Time for Flashcards.
It is a base of oatmeal with small apples that I got at Michael's and acorn bells that I got at Hobby Lobby.
Gator-Tot is enjoying it but I should warn you that the oatmeal is very "dusty".
Here are some action shots. G-Tot has been wanting to count out all of the apples and acorns then play with the oatmeal.
Our playdough is made from Counting Coconut's favorite recipe with cinnamon. It is a hit and the first homemade dough that Senior has not complained about the smell!
I love the oatmeal idea!! I am going to try that with Will. He will probably try to eat most of it :)
