Field Trip: Etowah Indian Mounds

There have been moments this week when I sometimes forgot what a blessing homeschooling is, but not today. How great is it that education, family, faith and fun all become one!

Today, we had an amazing time at the Etowah Indian Mounds. The weather was gorgeous and we just spent time enjoying each other.

Oh, and we also learned about Southeastern Indians! This visit fit in perfect with our study on Native Americans with Adventures in My Father's World. Hummm..... you might think I planned it like that, ha ha.

The main attraction for my boys were the mounds themselves. They both enjoyed all the running.


Oh to be young again... the climb was no problem for the little ones.
